  18. What is the AutoDocumentation System?
  19.     The AutoDocumentation System (often referred to as AutoDoc) is a
  20.     tool you can use to extract and format documentation that is embedded
  21.     in text files.  Common uses are for documenting batch files, shell
  22.     scripts, source code files or any other type of file you can think of.

  25. How does the AutoDocumentation System work?
  26.     AutoDoc uses a keyword-based extraction engine to locate the documentation
  27.     you embed in your files.  During the extraction process, the keywords
  28.     and the information you provide are placed into a text file known
  29.     as a target (or extraction) file.  Using word processor macroes,
  30.     the target file is formatted into the final document using your word
  31.     processor.

  34. Can I customize the AutoDocumentation System?
  35.     You can customize many aspects of AutoDoc.  For instance, you can create
  36.     new keywords or change the definition of existing keywords.  You can
  37.     also modify how the word processor macroes work or even define new ones.
  38.     You can also define command scripts to automate routine extraction and
  39.     formatting processes.

  42. Can I make copies for other people to use?
  43.     Absolutely!  AutoDoc is a shareware application.  That means you can
  44.     give anyone a copy of the application.  To do so, you must make a copy
  45.     of the installation diskette.

  48. What should I do if I use the AutoDocumentation System?
  49.     If you find AutoDoc useful, we ask that you register it.  To do so,
  50.     select the Register option from the menu bar.  Fill in the requested
  51.     information and mail the printed form along with your payment to the
  52.     indicated address.

  55. What do I get when I register?
  56.     Once you're copy of AutoDoc is registered, you will receive a printed
  57.     copy of the User's manual.  In addition, you'll get a diskette containing
  58.     the latest release of AutoDoc pre-registered in your name.  Finally,
  59.     for 6 months after you register, you will automatically receive a copy
  60.     of any updates to the product and on-going notification of new
  61.     releases of AutoDoc.

  64.     Yes.  The on-line help file specifies three ways that you can contact
  65.     the author if you have suggestions or problems.
